About me
Welcome to NiteTrane's station. My real name is John, but call me Trane. I am a student at our Lady of the Lake University majoring in Social Work, but I also have a love for music. I love jazz, R&B, rap, and classical. I am open also to other forms of music, but those are my favorites. I play the piano and am learning the trumpet right now. I also think that Stevie Wonder is a musical genius and don't make those Eddie Murphy jokes about Stevie! As far as me, I'm a free spirit who believes in doing anything for fun that is legal. I say if it makes you happy, do it, as long as it legal. I'd like to give a shout out to everybody in Shrewsbury, that Psychoward, St. Augustine Purple Knights(not a gay organization!), New Orleans, Crump Tight University, the Lake Jazz Band, Park Bench poets, and everybody that i'm cool with.   • Music
    Jazz and Stevie form another food group! I love piano, and other jazz instruments, but am open to exotic and foreign instruments as well!
  • Poetry
    "I, too, am America," by Langston Hughes Being an African American male in america can be quite stressful sometimes, and I relate my life's stresses through my poetry. I also enjoy reading and listening to others.
  • Basketball
    Basketball is my favorite sport. I like the way they dribble up and down the court! No, that line isn't mine, but Curtis Blow won't mind. All I have to say is Chicago Bulls will three-peat again!
